You’ve seen it on TV, you have plenty of friends who talk about it, but you’re still not quite sure how to explain it. We’re here to make it simple and explain what you can expect when you come in for a session with us.
CrossFit Covers All Aspects of Fitness
Our program is not one dimensional, but that’s what keeps it interesting. Our workouts include everything from weightlifting to endurance, to bodyweight strength and gymnastics. Our goal is to help you become more athletic all around. With so many different aspects to challenge you, there’s also always something you can work towards getting better at. We also give you plenty of variety in your workouts so you never get bored.
CrossFit is Challenging and Tough – but Definitely not Impossible
We believe in intensity, but we also believe in scaling your workouts to your current levels and abilities. To help you find the right level of difficulty you’ll always be working with a coach. Your coach teaches you form and technique, helps you modify workouts as needed and motivates you during your workout. Everyone is welcome from complete beginners to seasoned athletes.
CrossFit is Beneficial
Yes you’ll be faster, stronger, more agile etc. But you’ll also breathe easier going up the stairs, have more energy to play with your kids, or be able to stop taking your blood pressure medication. The improvements in your health and fitness will be noticeable in many other aspects of your life.
CrossFit is Fun
The community component to CrossFit is powerful. Each day you push through workouts with your class. You get to watch each other improve and reach your goals. You’re there to motivate each other when one of you falls.
The encouragement and camaraderie that our community offers is what we call the X factor. Our family of members is the unexpected variable that has a profound impact. The majority of your classmates are middle aged professionals, with plenty of teachers, law enforcement, business owners, and more.
We have tons of married couples and families. Outside of our CrossFit Kids program, our youngest member currently is 15 and oldest member is mid 60’s.
CrossFit is for You!
The last great thing about CrossFit is that even though you are working in a group, we can still individualize the program for everyone. We assess where you’re at from the moment you join. We make it our first priority to understand your needs and then tailor the program to meet those needs. It doesn’t matter if you can do 30 push-ups or can’t do any at all. As long as we know where we are we starting, plot a course and move forward.
We teach people that everyone has to start somewhere – as long as they start. Forward progress is forward progress. We establish goals and celebrate accomplishments no matter how big or small.
