With the big holiday weekend coming up, here is some good advice on how to stay on track with your diet.
I'm a realist, so when it comes to step #2 I would say bring light beer (I prefer Amstel Light), or if you prefer mixed drinks just stay away from juices and soda as mixers.
Another good tip is to eat a healthy meal at home before you go to a barbeque. Don't worry you'll still eat at the BBQ but it will be easier to avoid the chips and dips when you first arrive.
Don't worry, if you go off the reservation this July 4th weekend we will have just what the doctor ordered on Monday – a nice dose of "Murph", just kidding – or am I?
