At CrossFit South Shore, we offer a holistic approach to health. That means we care about every aspect of your life as it pertains to fitness- including your training regimen, stress levels, sleep, hydration, and of course your eating habits.
We don’t believe in offering a one-size fits all solution for nutrition. Instead we work with clients on a one-on-one basis to ensure that they are achieving their goals and that their nutrition strategy works for them. We’ll take into consideration your likes and dislikes, your family life, your work schedule and help develop a plan that suits your needs. Think of it as having a personal trainer just for nutrition.
What does the plan include?
We won’t just tell you what to eat and what not to eat. Our plan is centered on education and empowerment. We’ll teach why you should eat certain foods and avoid others. We believe that knowledge is the key to making life long changes. At the end of your time with us you won’t be reliant on a super-specific meal plan, instead you’ll understand:
- What are protein, carbs & fats
- How to create a balanced plate
- How much water to drink everyday
- How certain foods affect your blood sugar and insulin levels
- How to meal prep
- How “cheat meals” fit into a healthy diet
- How to eat healthy on the go or at a restaurant
- And more!
Getting started with us includes 90 minutes of education, a plan for you to track your meals, and optional body composition measurements (weight, inches and body fat percentage) so that we can track your success.
